Sonic Forms is a new sound composition commissioned for the Henry Moore project. Artists Joe Watson and David Carter have composed the work by translating some of Moore 's working methods and processes, such as comparative scale and the superimposition of forms. Having collected and manipulated sounds taken from the local environment – the sea and land – superimposing them, re-recording and bouncing sound waves off different surfaces and materials, they created a range of compositional possibilities. Within a scaled-down model of the Crypt, visitors will be able to manipulate sounds by moving a sensor, thereby creating their own, new compositions.

The Crypt is a unique gallery built around a beautifully restored medieval undercroft. It is only minutes from the beach along one of the most famous clifftop walks in Britain .
