Sculpture workshops will be held throughout the exhibition in the service area of Lewes Grange Gardens . Workshops will focus on materials and processes to give the participant a deeper understanding of Henry Moore, the landscape and maritime themes. Participants will be encouraged to make work that grows away from Henry Moore, exploring their own ideas. |
Sculpture workshops will be held throughout the exhibition in the service area of Lewes Grange Gardens . Workshops will focus on materials and processes to give the participant a deeper understanding of Henry Moore, the landscape and maritime themes. Participants will be encouraged to make work that grows away from Henry Moore, exploring their own ideas.
There will be two artist-tutors. Hamish Black, whose workshops during the Anthony Caro exhibition in 2001 attracted some 3000 participants, will be working across a range of materials. Marcus Cornish will lead workshops using brick clay, with selected pieces being fired.

Plaster
Thermolite blocks
Wood
Chalk

Workshops, for a maximum of 10 participants, are £15 per day (two sessions). Families comprising one or two adults and up to three children £25 per session.
Children and students under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by an adult. Students aged sixteen to eighteen will need signed parental consent (forms available at Lewes Town Hall ).
